Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women. I have heart disease and the statistics on the effects of air pollution and increased rate of heart attack are truly shocking. I am sure the state looses money with every polluted day because of the rate of illness that is caused. All I have to do is walk outside on polluted days to start my chest pain. It is a crime that Virginia, our beautiful home, is defiled by dirty air that effectively murders the citizens.
