Standing up to Cuccinelli; Support the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter

We cannot let Virginia Attorney General Cuccinelli undermine our state’s environmental laws.

Mainstream Virginians who may have voted for Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General last November likely had no idea what they were getting, but we all know now. For the next four years we have a right wing extremist as Attorney General who is much more interested in pursuing his radical agenda than in serving the interests of all Virginians.

Support Sierra Club’s efforts to counter Cuccinelli.

First, Cuccinelli attacked the environment, suing the US EPA over climate change. The same day he filed suit, Sierra Club was there responding in the media and then filing a counter suit in support of the EPA’s actions to regulate greenhouse gases.

It is your financial support of the Virginia Chapter of Sierra Club that maintains our office in Richmond to keep an eye on and respond quickly to environmental threats and opportunities. That support also funds our organizers in Hampton Roads and Northern Virginia and our work around the state.
