Rally for Our Clean Energy Future, May 8 in Richmond!
Dominion has proposed to retire two of its most outdated and polluting coal plants, at Yorktown and Chesapeake, and is seeking approval from the State Corporation Commission (SCC) during its review of Dominion’s 15 year long-term energy plan. But this plan proposes to replace coal with another dangerous fossil fuel, natural gas, and includes no provision for large-scale wind or solar in Virginia for the next decade and half!
Dominion’s lack of investment in clean energy keeps Virginia stuck in its dirty-fuel past, putting the health of Virginia families at risk. We’ve collected 2,000 comments but now we must rally to make our voices heard.
