On Feb. 17, Sierra Club, 350.org and hundreds of organizations across the U.S. are organizing to bring 25,000 of us to the Mall in Washington, D.C. for the biggest rally for the climate in U.S. history.

President Obama’s Inaugural Address made it clear he plans to take action on climate in his second term. He can only get this done with our help, our encouragement and our pressure! With our kick off of 100 Days of Action on Climate, we are committed to giving President Obama the political cover he needs to take bold and decisive action on climate including denying a permit for the XL Canadian Tar Sands Pipeline.

There’s also Amtrak trains that come into DC from the following cities: Norfolk, Newport News, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Quantico, and Alexandria. Go to Amtrak.com for more info.

There’s METRO too. Click here for more info. The closest METRO stops are either Smithsonian or Federal Triangle on the Orange/Blue line.
