2013 Fall Annual Gathering
Every year, Virginia Sierra Club members join together for a weekend of hiking, music, fun and of course, learning about how to protect our natural environment. This three day, two night Gathering includes nature hikes, Virginia Sierra Club happenings, great music and fellowship.
The gathering will have a fun, relaxed, family friendly atmosphere! This weekend is a great chance to meet new people, learn about Virginia’s natural landscape, and have fun. While we structure the time with hikes, discussions and more you are never required to attend any of the sections. If you would like to sleep-in, start your own discussion group, or just relax for an afternoon we encourage everyone to enjoy the weekend their own way. All we ask is that you are respectful of the other campers. If you’ve never been this is the year to try it out and for those veterans this is a year you won’t want to miss!
